48Hr Film Project

Hello to all who fall through the spot,

Again I've taken a hiatus from the blog, but this time I had good reason. I've been preparing projects for the upcoming summer in addition to prepping for the 48 hr Film Project this week. For those who are unfamiliar with the event here's the website: http://www.48hourfilm.com/ . The beauty of the project is that you don't have a clue what you're doing until the project begins. I'll try to make updates throughout the weekend if time permits.

Thanks for paying attention,

In the Progress of Develpment

What it do people,

I've gone too many days without posting anything so I guess I'd give those wanting to know a status update. As of today I am officially on Model Mayhem (check me out when you leave here: www.modelmayhem.com/mariocordale). This is kinda big for me seeing how I'm trying to branch out to a wider base, and diversify the port (also since my profile waited in the approval queue since November 08'). In addition, I'm looking to set-up a few summer inspired shoots near the end of this month and am currently looking for models. So any Atlanta area models who would be interested in taking part send an e-mail to eyez2dastreet@gmail.com with the subject summer style shoots. Be sure to include your age and a full body photo in the message. I'm doing this series to prepare for my first exhibit shoot that I plan to start working on a lil' later on this year. Thanks for paying attention.

Photoshoot Time: Eyez on Gifted

Yo,

What's good folks? Had to stop by and drop off a couple quick pics from a shoot I did a couple days ago. Living in the Atlanta Area I come across a lot of aspiring recording artists which actually make the majority of my client base. Don't get me wrong, I love shooting models, but my photography infatuation began with cover art and Hip Hop Magazines. I say all this to say that a lot of my work is promotional/publicity related. But I will try and keep it balanced to showcase the range.

Anyway, my homie Zip, who is an Atlanta area producer, has an artist that he is working with who goes by the name of Gifted and he wanted me to do a couple test shots with him before we did a real shoot. So we hoped in the car, and drove around until we found this warehouse type spot in Kirkwood. Setup shop and got a few good looks.

I even went back and played around a lil' bit with a couple.

I probably post a few more from the shoot after I finish exporting.

In The Beginning...

What's good folks,

I'm Mario Cordale and I would personally like to welcome you to the Eyez 2 Da Streets Visual Concepts blog. Many of you may be asking,"What is Eyez 2 Da Streets Visual Concepts?" or "Who the hell is Mario Cordale?" Simple answers to both questions.

1. Eyez 2 Da Streets Visual Concepts is a budding production company based in the Metro Atlanta area focused in visual media (i.e. photography, film, video, etc.)

2. Mario Cordale is an Atlanta area photographer, director, writer, editor and the guy behind Eyez 2 Da Streets (he's also one cool individual).

Before I go any further let me just say that that will be the first and last time I refer to myself in the third person. I wanted to do this blog to showcase my work, and connect with a wider audience(or an audience period for that matter). In the coming months I'll be posting various projects, shoots, shorts, skits, or anything that I feel that the viewing public would enjoy so be on the look out. Thanks for stopping by the spot.

Be Easy,

Mario Cordale
